First Car Rental Cape Town Airport has no regard for their clients.

I rented a car through Economy Car Rentals from the UK, who passed the rental onto First Car Rental Cape Town Airport. My wife arrived on the last flight in on a Friday night and when she tried to collect the car from First Car Rental, who had accepted my deposit on my credit card, the agent refused to honour the agreement and would not give her a car(after keeping her busy for an hour to do the paperwork). This meant she was stuck without transport at 1am in the morning at Cape Town airport... well after the last taxi service/bus had left already. No explanation/proof/pleading could move Simasa (First Car Rental attendant) who told my wife that First Car Rental values their cars more important than her life!

In desperation she walked (woman alone in the ****** capital of the world) until she found a person willing to ferry her at an absorbedant amount to her accommodation. To add insult to injury - the very next day my wife had no trouble at all to hire a car from another agency herself using the exact method First Car Rental refused to use.

In short: If you value any kind of service - STAY AWAY from First Car Rental.
