First Car Rental are Last in my book!

I booked a car from First Car Rental online on Tuesday 01 Jul 2025 for pick up at Cape Town International Airport on 02 July 2025 and paid for the transaction with my Standard Bank Debit Card. The transaction was accepted and I was advised by e mail that the car was ready for collection on 02 July 2025. However when I tried to collect the car at Cape Town International Airport on 02 July 2025 I was told that they did not accept ABSA and Standard Bank Debit cards for any transaction and that they were therefore cancelling the car. When I asked them who else would be able to help me as I was now stranded at the airport, they just indicated that they did not know and I would have to find out for myself. I was disgusted by the callous manner in which I was dealt with by the personnel at the First Car Rental at the Airport and the offhanded manner in which I was dismissed and left to my own devices. They are supposedly the preferred car hire company for FlySafair. Please avoid them at all cost!
