Disappointed and Frustrated

I was renting a car from First Car Rental and had a very disappointing experience. We arrived, having had paid the rental price and all we needed to do was pay for the deposit on the vehicle. As two young women, we do not travel with our physical bank cards for safety reasons. When we arrived at first car rentals, we were informed that we needed my physical card. In none of the communication was this requirement mentioned. The agent helping us was atleast regretful and continued to ask his manager if someone else could pay on our behalf with a physical card or if I could instant EFT. However, the female agent next to him was incredibly rude and informed us that we “did not read the terms and conditions” which we did and have since and nowhere does it explicitly say a virtual card cannot be used.

We will never be returning and were luckily helped by Avis.
