Deposit refund

I hired a car and returned it last week Monday. Its now more than 7 working days but l havent received a refund of my deposit into my account. Neither did l receive any communication with regards to a refund of my deposit. <br> <br> When l hired a car in randburg, they informed me my deposit will be paid back within 4 to 6 working days.<br> <br> Yesterday l wrote an email to first car rental asking when they will refund my deposit. No one rep**** my email.<br> <br> How long does it take to pay back a deposit? At least they should communicate so that l know.
