Deposit hold longer than should

Rental Vehicle given back last week Thursday. Monday a Cancellation of Authorization For RA *** : Amount R 3500.00 Instruction to bank 06/05/202506:52 received. No money in my account as yet. Absa is saying it Is not their problem. I am trying to see where the ***** is lying but I get no answers from both parties. Exactly the same happened with the previous rental from First car rental. This is the way they operate. The longer they keep my money the more interest they earn. Unacceptable.
