On our initial visit to 1st car rental we were told to pay a deposit of R2500 in case of damages to the vehicle and then R1500 for fuel and e toll charges. During the course of the rental we paid in advance for a certain amount of days, so in anyone's right mind you would expect your deposit back on returning of the vehicle without damages, this was not the case. I received a very uninformative statement and feedback from Lenice Jenner, whom does not have an email address, I have compiled my own breakdown of payments and deductions and there is almost R2000 difference in calculations. 1st Car rental deducted \stuff"off the deposit for the vehicle"

As per previous correspondence sent to you, we confirmed that during your rental an amount of R34895.00 was received.
Your invoices amounted to R8704.76 and R25605.99 which were deducted from the above mentioned payments and the difference of R584.25 was refunded on 19/04 and a copy of the refund slip was sent to you on 22/04 for your ease of reference.
