Booked a car during Dec 2020. Very expensive experience.

Our return flight got cancelled due to Covid 19 regulations and we had to drop the car off in Durban instead of East London. We were fined R1200 for returning the car to a different venue, even though this was due to a change in national regulations, another R400 for being a few hours late due to the longer distance to drive and another R125 for petrol after we returned the car with a full tank (filled up at the airport).

More than a week after the rental, our R4000 deposit has not been paid back.

The central complaint service responded to our complaint saying none of the above is their problem.
