Credit Card authorisation not released after a month, no longer getting response from First Rental.

On the 10th of April I returned my rented vehicle in good order. The R5000 hold on my bank account is supposed to be released after 5-7 business days. It is now a month since I returned the vehicle and it is still not released, I have made multiple requests for First Car Rental to release the hold on my account, and now I dont even get a response anymore.

This will be the last time that my company will make use of First Car Rental. Our staff need to use their own physical credit cards for car rental, but the company cannot reimburse a forever pending authorisation sitting on their credit cards, UNACCEPTABLE.
