Beware! First Car Rental pass the buck when they have to pay back the deposit

<p>I got a communication from Taryn on 19 July but nothing else.</p> <p> </p> <p>First Car Rental owe me R732 for a deposit on a Ford Figo I rented from 2016/05/18 to 2016/06/17.</p> <p> </p> <p>They say they paid it, but it appears nowhere on my bank statements and I've confirmed with my bank that it wasn't paid. Now I'm left in limbo -- First Car Rental says it's now my problem as they have 'proof of payment' which they haven't sent. It's just a letterhead with the amount on it.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please help me, as Maryke no longer replies to my emails.</p>
