1 First Car '*******' Rentals

Beware.... 2nd time my insurance company has given me a car from 1 First car rental and both times this company has attempted to ripped me off. The first time 3 years ago, they charge me a fuel charge after I had returned the car on full. It took many phone calls and proof of a fuel receipt for them to apologize and cancel the charge. This last time they once again charged me a small amount for fuel even though I'd filled up 500 m away and then proceeded to charge me R 500 for valet. What a *******! This is outrageous, this is ripping of the customer.... which seems to be company policy. There was nothing in the car that could not have been vacuumed with a regular vacuum cleaner - no mention at the time you drop off so you can actually see what they are talking about rather wait for you to fly out the country then send you the various bills - but yes I do agree, way more profitable for them to charge R 500 for a valet then to get their staff member to vacuum the car. I have rented cars all over the world, and never have I heard or even had it mentioned that there could be a valet charge almost more than the daily rental rate... not denying it is in the small print - just don't believe the service or charge was necessary... but hey... I'm just a customer. Beware.... you will be next!
