Do not buy from First Ascent if you're unsure what you want, they cannot help you.

First Ascent sells decent enough gear, 4-5 stars for that, their knowledge on said gear however is none existent, they've let me down twice now, first was when I inquired about a tent, I was still deciding which one to buy so i wasn't too bothered when they didn't get back to me (bought one from a different company in the end),

And the second time was about a sleeping bag, once again they could not help me over the phone, and once again they didn't get back to me when they said they would, and then when I phoned them to find out whats going on, i was sent from pillar to post.

In short, If you know what you want and don't need assistance then FA is okay, but if you have a query try someone else, cause they wont be able to help you.
