Unprofessional Conduct

What a waste of time. We app**** for a loan in the beginning of August against our property that is fully paid meaning no Bond. The value of the property is R1.7m. They said the will lend us R100k but after they did their checks it came to R50k which we accepted as we were desperate because of a small loan taken against our vehicle. The loan was approved. They are based in JHB but have branches all over South Africa and other neighbouring countries. Before we could get the funds we would have to sign an Agreement but they needed to find an Attorney in Cape Town where we were based so that we can sign. I mean if you have btanches all over why do you need to find one as you have signed someone in Cape Town before. The loan was approved on the 5th of August and until today the 18th we still waiting to sign with an Attorney in Cape Town. We kept calling and texting them to let them know that we are going to loose the vehicle on the 19th if they dont pay our loan out.

I have emailed Roland Walker the Director and Doug my concerns and also asked them what there registered company name is and so forth. As soon as they recieved my email i received a whatsapp from Roland saying our potential deal has been cancelled. So a day before we needed to pay our vehicle they cancelled so our vehicle will be sold and we taking a loss of a potential R100k

So the idea was pay the loan on the vehicle that and sell it and make a profit from it and buy a smaller car. We only had time to pay on or before the 19th of August or they will sell the vehicle. That is the reason why we asked First Advance as that they can do the loan against the property. It has been a back and forth for all this time and promises made by the director himself that we will be helped. Once we stated to them they have all our documentation and information suddenly our deal was cancelled and we were refered to their lawyers. I find this rather strange for a business to "block" us on whasapp. Makes me thing they may noit be as honest as they say.

This is how the deal would have been structered and Roland found it quite funny when he explained it to me as i am sure he made quite a bit of money taking peoples properties.

The loan repayment is over 12 months where you pay R5000 per month and geus what, that is only the intrest. After 12 moths then your final payment will be the R50k you borrowed. We almost went for it as we were desperate and than God thet evrything happens for a reason.
