NO REGARD FOR BOOKINGS- POOR CURTESY

I called Fireroom Montecasino to make a booking, specifying the private tables that are just on the outside hoping for a romantic evening with my partner. Yet to my surprise on arrival I was placed where there was just tables available and very rowdy big groups, not much personal space or privacy as intended for the evening. I guess the lady on the phone asking me more than 3 times if there’s any special occasion should’ve given me a hint, like a romantic dinner with your partner who’s traveled a million miles to be with me isn’t a special enough evening. Really annoyed and the manager in charge - Sibusiso did absolutely nothing about it.

At the very least, any other courteous place would call and say no the place you want to reserve is not available. I’m guessing maybe who ever arrived and they felt had something to celebrate - they just sat in.

How annoying! Now I’ve hyped up the place so much to my partner, and have to stay the course of the evening but quite honestly would’ve just left. #Blackfriday
