Fireplace - Fireplace and Chimney Co.

Dealing with this company was truly very frustrating. I waited about 3 months for installation after the deposit was paid. Various excuses were given every time the installation was due and even if the excuses were true, it is just not the way to do business. Since I am located in Langebaan and the company in Fish Hoek, I will suggest that they only focus their business in that area - maybe they will then be able to deliver according to their due dates. The company did however compensate me for the long wait by giving me the fireplace (including installation) at cost price, which I highly appreciated. Also, they did not charge any "delivery fee" from Fish Hoek which was a positive. All the people I dealt with, from Jim (the owner), Janine, and Ashne were always very friendly and apologetic towards the situation. I therefore sincerely hope that no future customer will have to wait that long for a fireplace - I must also add that the fireplace itself (Bora Lux) is of very high quality and it more than fulfills my needs.
