Be careful to do business with Fireplace & Chimney co.!
I bought a fireplace in November 2021 from FirePlace & Chimney CO. and paid 80% deposit. My unit was promised to be installed numerous times and cancelled with various excuses e.g. supplier need time to dispatch unit, crisis due to an accident, not enough installers to do the work, installers sick, ordered unit but supplier cannot get unit etc. This is just an example of some of the excuses given with each breach of installation. The ladies sweet talk you with promises but do not deliver! It is now 6 months later and still no installation. I have pursued the legal route with a group that are in the same boat. I have sent them a letter of demand that they ignored. I have asked for a refund with no success. I received a call last night from one of the ladies, promising they will install on Thursday 19 May 2022 (this after a review that was removed, that I posted on HelloPeter). Will have to see if they deliver on their promise this time. Please be careful to interact with this company! I cannot stress it enough, PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FIREPLACE & CHIMNEY! The emotional struggle to get service delivery is not worth it!
I still would not recommend anyone to do business with this company! Rather go to a reputable company that can deliver on time and that you do not need to fight for months to deliver the service you paid for.
