FIREFLIES (AI APP/TRANSCRIBE SERVICE) LIES TO THEIR CLIENTS

FIREFLIES is an APP that offers audio transcription services with built in AI for meeting summaries. I have used the FREE version to transcribe voice notes. They say their FREE VERSION offers to *transcribe unlimited voice notes for Free* ....I must just make sure to turn it on in the app, which I have... YET... here I am a month into using the app and I've run out of transcribes. I contact customer care to ask for help, to resolve this issue. They say... NO, their free version has LIMITED transcribes but unlimited recordings and storage ????? HUHHHH... but that isn't the same as UNLIMITED FREE TRANSCRIBES OF VOICE NOTES as they claim on their website and in the APP. I understand that by using a service ... if one really enjoys it... more can be unlocked if choosing to upgrade to a paid package. I would likely have done that... HOWEVER... if you claim to offer UNLIMITED FREE TRANSCRIBES OF VOICE NOTES as part of your free version then you must uphold this promise and not say "it's a misunderstanding". That's exactly what the support team said. There is no way to understand this differently ... FIREFLIES lies to their potential clients, lures them in with a free package that promises one thing but doesn't deliver on it ... and then you have to pay. IT'S INAUTHENTIC. Who wants to purchase a service from a service provider who is inauthentic from the very beginning.

I've now chosen to use OTTER.AI instead. They are very clear about what they offer. There are no hidden agenda's... I know exactly what I get. They give me 3 free uploads to transcribe and test before I make the decision to purchase their service. it's transparent ... it builds trust upfront. I'm very happy to pay for this service.

Don't buy from a wolf in sheep's clothing ; )
