Fired Earth Blend Cement

I bought the Fired Earth blend cement, thinning agent, cement color (never fold) and extreme seal to do a timber counter top. The timber is new which I sanded with 100 grid sandpaper. I app**** a 1st cement coat with mixture of blend cement and the thinning agent amd left it overnight for about 12 hours. Then 3 more coats cement with the coloring with 12 hours intervals. The last coat we left over weekend and app**** the 1st coat of the extreme sealer the Monday. Then 2 more sealer coats eith 12 hour intervals and left the last coat for 2 days.

Then we had guests and a child left a wet energy drink bottle on the counter and instantly white marks occured. Wipe the water of but white marks remain.

So my question is. Where did it go wrong?
