VFR 800 ELECTRICAL ONGOING DRAMA

Wife's son bought VFR 800 from them that had electrical issues from day one. Eventually it was diagnosed as rectifier and aftermarket replacement repair part was sourced. This was after replacement battery was installed that failed. After having driven it for roughly 2 months he took it in for its first service and afterwards bike would not start at garage and again at home bike would not start. At best aftersales support and response time is dismall, you are given a list of empty promises, and throughout the process you must make a plan. And this is not the only example. Know of another three people that has had equally bad experiences. Cannot recommend. Tomorrow it is the same story beg for a driver, wait for agreed pickup time that is never met and then hope that the bike is fixed. When you raise it with sales rep they simply refer you to workshop manager and block your calls.
