FIRE IT UP NON DISCLOSURE

Unfortunately had a bike sold to me without disclosing to me they ever worked on it after asking numsous times. Now, 5200km after purchase (1 year later), I have to fork out R65,500 for the repairs.

If they disclosed they ever worked on this bike (yes the Fire It Up workshop worked on it and have the facts from the previous owner) I would not have made the deal and when saying that I do not want to go public nor legal after seeking compensation they took it as a threat which was not the case, merely concerning they sold this bike to me without disclosing the known history.

Hi Camile, it's regrettable that you've shared inaccurate information relating to your motorcycle.

The motorcycle was sold with a warranty which has paid for the required gearbox repairs. Any repairs performed by FIU, or work which was outsourced, carries the applicable warranty by the service provider. Choosing to rebuild/replace additional components inside the motor was not a requirement for the gearbox repair and the additional costs are not covered by the warranty.

As always, we will deal with all customers transparently and remain committed to keeping you informed.
