VODACOM INSURANCE ****

This business is a devious ****. Do NOT agree to "Vodacom Insurance" on your device. Vodacom do not insure the phone. It's insured by this fly-by-night company (for which Vodacom no doubt earns a nice commission for referral of the business). When you query your claim with Vodacom, they say "Vodacom Insurance" is a different company. Then after all your emails are undelivered, you find out that the company is in fact Finrite (which also refuses calls and emails). Result is the insurer is hidden behind a complex, opaque wall and can wrongfully repudiate claims with impunity and generally refuse to take responsibility for its obligations under the contract. They also don't mind recording false information in connection with your claim to decline it, in addition to relying on a host of unfair exclusions & limitations of liability, etc and other clever trickery. Both Finrite and Vodacom ought to be reported to the FSCA and the Consumer Ombud for harmful and unfair business practices, if not outright *****. They are co-conspirators in the **** and equally guilty.
