VODACOM AND FINRITE ADMINISTRATORS ARE *******!!!!!!

Vodacom is my mobile service provider. I pay monthly insurance on my phone to the value of R158. On my bill it states "NCDG Nashua Handset Insurance" Unbeknown to me Vodacom pay this premium to a company called Finrite who are the administrators of the insurance. I am still waiting for my signed terms and conditions from Finrite.

I was emailed an unsigned copy of these T&C's today, 15 August. I have been corresponding with Vodacom since the 23 July 2019.

My claim has been repudiated due to the fact that my daughter was using the phone at the time of theft and this phone was not used by me? Finrite's T&C's state this, however today is the first time I have read said T&C's. Why would I possibly pay R158 (2014 - 2019 value of R11,376) knowing full well that if my daughter was using the phone - the claim would not be paid?

Furthermore the insurance details for the phone have not been updated since 2014??? All / any upgrades I do are done through Vodacom, yet it is my responsibility to advise the insurer that I have changed handsets. The insurer I never knew existed?

DO NOT INSURE YOUR PHONE WITH YOUR MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER!!!!!! They are ******* and *********. Insure your phone as part of your householders insurance where the claim is linked to the IME number and not the SIM number in the phone at time of theft.

I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for more than 15 years spending on average R2,500 - R3,000 on my account. They are not interested in offering any kind of customer service, I will definitely be cancelling my contract with them ASAP.
