Telkom very poor.

I have been trying to port my number to Telkom to no avail, even using the instructions on the sim card pack. Only to discover that they have suspended the service. They now require the customer to go to a Telkom shop. These shops are very limited and the nearest one is 180 km away. I don't understand how they setup this procedure. Are they saying they need only people in urban areas to be using their network. How do you expect a person to travel and look for a shop when you know you they aren't everywhere.

The logic behind this is lacking and I have decided due to this not to use the telkom network as it's more of a inconvenience than a service.
