Telkom Insurance/ Finrite THE WORST CHOICE I EVER MADE!!!

TELKOM INSURANCE in cooperation with FINRITE is the most ridiculous, absurd and frankly ********** insurance company I have EVER come across. My phone got ****** on Sunday, I laid a claim on Monday, expecting for it to be an easy process where I inevitably would get a new phone within 24 to 48 hours, as this previously was the case when I claimed in early 2016 and when I was insured with Vodacom years before then.

To my surprise I was told it would take a MINIMUM of 3 WEEKS to receive a new phone, granting my claim is approved. Apparently Telkom takes long with sending usage reports and they are currently experiencing problems with their systems. THIS IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!! To be expected to wait 3 weeks plus for a cellphone. When my car got written off I got a new one exactly 4 weeks later, but for a cellphone I must wait the same amount of time?!!! Come on!!! AND on top of that I was told they need to calculate the excess in which I would need to pay. I work in the insurance industry, last time i checked an excess is a standard set amount given to a client upon signing to an insurer.

The level of service I received from both Telkom and Finrite was poor. Every person I spoke to within Telkom (both telephonically and in store) told me something different. The employees do not know the policies and operations about the company. Telkom gives good data rates but that is the ONLY thing positive about them. I am so deeply disappointed in this network and their administration. Its 2018!!! When will cooperation's start being effective?!!
