Shocking service from Finrite insurers!

In July I brought my daughter a Telefunken tablet at Game for her birthday. Nice package with a selfie stick and an SD card included etc. I insured it at the time of purchase with Game's insurance partners Finrite.

2 weeks later my daughter dropped it and so began an uphill battle. To make a very long story short - nearly 3 months later after MANY repeated calls and follow ups from myself, holding for ages, having calls dropped and empty promises of someone calling me back, the replacement tablet arrived today (28 October) and it is not at all what it is supposed to be!

The original tablet (which I was told was too costly to repair so would have to be replaced - at a 50% of purchase price excess to myself!!) was a Telefunken 7 inch with an 8mb camera, 16gigs of built in storage, with an SD card of another 16GB's included, a Selfie Stick and a tablet cover all packaged together in a bundle.

Tablet that arrived today has a 2MB camera. 8GB's of built in storage, no SD card, no selfie stick, no cover. It is a Telefunken 7inch tablet but that it where the similarities end - despite being told by the Finrite consultant that they had the very same tablet to replace ours with.

I called Finrite AGAIN today. Held for ages, told my story to the agent called Bianca, was put on hold for ages and then was cut off. Called again and spoke to another woman called Tarryn who also put me on hold for ages - eventually she came back to say that they would review the recorded calls and if it is their error they will replace the unit with the correct one.

I told her the date of the call where she will hear the Finrite agent, named Veronica, telling me that they have the same tablet available. I was promised that someone would get back to me by 5pm and once again was dissapointed.

My daughter has now waited 3 months for a new tablet. The monthly debit order for the insurance on this tablet keeps going off. I paid 50% excess for a replacement and yet I get a tablet that is no-where near the value of the one broken.

I am so extremelly frustrated and angry and would say to anyone who buys something at Game - DO NOT use their insurance take out your own or add it to your own insurance. Disgusting customer service that almost feels like a ****!
