Router under payment

I've been with Vodacom for years and I have my devices covered, I ended up covering my device according to their band covers, so my device for the past 4years was covered under a band cover from R751_R1500 which now when I claim for the insured device because it is lost, they want to pay me for a device of a band between R0_R750. That is rude and inconsiderate.
