****** by Vodacom/ Finrite Insurance

Good day I’ve been ****** by Vodacom and Finrite endurance. I have cover to the value of R30 000, firstly Vodacom deemed my cellphone unrepairble. I took my cellphone to the istore in Sandton because I did my upgrade with them. Two very helpful technicians gave me a verbal quotation for R10 000. On Saturday I took my cellphone back to them to have it booked in for repairs. Someone is else assisted me. A young girl. I told her I have R30 000 cover. She came back with two options one being I get a brand new phone the i phone 12 pro max or 13. Vodacom also suggested this but with a massive excess of R6000.00. Which I declined. So today I called Finrite/ Vodacom and guess what I can’t just put in a claim with Istore for a new phone even though I have R30 000 cover. I have to purchase the phone cash then they refund me. Also I had my cellphone repaired two years ago at the istore as Vodacom also came back saying my can’t be repaired and I should get a new phone. With the excess of R5000. I was then later advised to take my phone to istore repair center. The Guys at Vodacom Waterfront where so kind and gracious and authorised my repairer immediately and istore just claimed from Vodacom. So why can’t this be done now. It’s the same process. And why can’t I just claim for a new phone at Istore since my cover is R30 000, without such a heavy excess of R6000.00
