<p>Pathetic Service</p> <p>I took out insurance in August 2016 with C surance - Hollard -Finrite in case of a theft as i was travelling by taxi at that time and was going into durban central on a day to day basis.</p> <p> </p> <p>In December 2016 - I attended a Christmas party and i was sitting in the back seat. My partner had left the mobile phones in the cubby which no one was aware of. The reason as to why i was in the back seat is because my partner was playing music from his vehicle and his colleagues were changing the song at times and i do not like it when people lean over me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I issued a claim to my insurance and they declined it as they have stated that the vehicle was unattended which it was not.</p> <p>HOW CAN A VEHICLE BE UNATTENDED IF I WAS SITTING IN THE BACK SEAT?????????????????????????????? At the end of the day i took insurance for this particular purpose several months ago - what is the point of having insurance on a mobile phone if when you claim they deny the claim but taking the premium every month is fine.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am expressing my views on hello peter however i will be taking this further to the DTI/CPA as when i took out the policy no documentation with terms and conditions were sent to me and i as a consumer am entitled to documentation.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have spoken with other people who have had insurance with C surance on facebook and have also mentioned that when they claimed their claim was rejected. Sounds fishy to me!</p>
