Insurance cancelled with my knowledge and claim rejected

I recently made a cellphone claim for repairs at Edgars, Pretoria Central and later I was told that my insurance was cancelled by mistake and I have to pay the missed premiums. I asked who cancelled the insurance with my concent as I did not default on premiums. Iw as told it was a system error. As per Edgars consultants, I should take the blame for the error and I must pay the premiums as well as the access. I find explanations rude and ridiculous because I was not informed of such cancellations or reasons for cancellation. Am only told when I make a claim. I always experience problems or bad service when I made a claim.
