I feel cheated by Finrite on my insurance Claim.

Hi I have an approved claim from Edgars insurance through Finrite Administrators. my cover amount is R2000 and the device replacement cost was R3500 (after they allowed me a betterment fee of R1500 in February 2021). Now when I claim again I was told that the replacement amount has been capped to R2000 with no betterment fee anymore. This was when I had already initiated the claim, approved and a access fee has been paid. There was no communication whatsoever to let me know of the changes they have implemented. Now they want to force me to settle for a lesser handset than the one I had previously. Had they inform me timeously, I would have been aware of the changes and taken the appropriate steps. Now I Just want them to acknowledge their error on their side and allow me to have the replacement handset of the same amount and features. Regards Tshepho
