FRUSTRATED CLIENT

My cellphone was taken into repairs at Telkom Centurion Mall on the 19th of December 2017,after much refusal from their staff. They refused to initially take my phone into repairs, telling me that I can take it to Samsung at Menlyn mall, after I repeatedly told them that I have insurance and I could not understand why I cannot claim for a cracked screen. Eventually they took my phone into repairs, wherein I was told that it would take a maximum of 21 working days and would be contacted by “an insurance company they don’t know of”. Eleven days later, I still do not have a phone and was not contacted at all, and I contacted my supposed insurance company Finright. My call was dropped 3 times wherein the last lady I spoke to Denise, said that she doesn’t know where my phone is she cannot help me. I was told to “just go into the store myself”.

When I did this two hours later, once again at Telkom Centurion Mall, I was welcomed with revolting behaviour and vulgar language and to no surprise, screaming from the staff. The IT guys,Tumelo,Daniel and Letlotlo reprimanded me, and said that I had sent in a phone that was not purchased from Telkom and plain out refused to help me. When I told them that I would never do something of that nature, I was told that they didn’t say that I could afford to, trust me I feel beyond insulted. The store manager, Clarice Gumede refused to see me for the entire one and a half hours that I waited in the store.

To top everything off, I asked for a copy of my cellphone contract which is apparently non-existent, so in other words there is no record whatsoever, that I agreed to a contract with Telkom, yet every month there are debits to my account. I feel extremely disgusted with Telkom and Finright employees, form being pushed around, screamed at as though I have no importance whatsoever and from the numerous rude dropped calls.
