FINRITE ADMINISTRATORS: DECLINING CLAIM- NO IMEI NUMBER ON RECORDS

I bought a phone from Markhams in 2016. I took out insurance over the phone with Finrite.

Lost the phone in April 2017. Tried to blacklist the phone, couldnt without an IMEI number, I had misplaced the cellphone sales document. Tried to get the IMEI number from Finrite, they had no records of it. Called call centre numerous times from April 2016 - October 2016 sent from pillar to post. Policy schedules were requested from the underwriters, no IMEI number. Between Markhams and Finrite, I had no way of getting the phone's IMEI number, until I actually found the cellphone sales document.

Blacklisted the phone and logged claim in November 2017, got the ITC number, affidavits x2 ( one explaining why the claim was lodged so late) and everything else Finrite requested. Its April 2018. I was told last week that my claim has been denied because I logged it too late!!!?????

Its unfair that Ive been paying insurance on two cellphones through Finrite from 2 ********** . Secondly the reason I could not claim is because there was no IMEI number during all this time. Finrite Administrators are part of the Foshini Group as insurers. The fact that no one could assist me with the IMEI number and I had bought it at a Markhams store is ridiculous. Im disputing this... I deserve answers.
