Do I look like I wanna add a title?
Hello Peter. My name is Clifford Gallant and let me start of by saying I am a very good and humbled person. Right now onto business...I was ****** of my phone in January 2020...and was struggling to get Finrite in hand before lockdown...I went in and out of Telkom stores and was advised I wasn't the only user trying to get them in hand...a couple of months went by and I was still trying to get them in hand...finally about 2 months ago I got them on the phone to tell them about what happened...they opened a case as this was my 1st claim EVER and said the claim was 90 days over something...I explained to the agent that I've been trying to get them in hand for months and it's not my fault for stating the case late...the agent escelated the case and said I will receive an SMS within the next 3 days....1 WEEK passed since the call and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought they might be offline again...the next week Monday I called and asked to speak to a Manager on the floor to explain my situation in a nice friendly manner and was told the Managers was in a Meeting, I understood and asked the agent if she knows when they will be done...she instructed me to leave my phone number and the Manager will contact me...another 3 days went passed and I did not receive a call ..I took the liberty to call them again this time the Agent said she will put me through to her Manager Andile...I've sat on that phone listening to ****ing Jazz music for more than 2 hours (maybe to calm me down) but in turn just agrivated me further...I called again the next day asking to speak to Andile and I could hear the Agent telling one of her colleagues to find him or see if he is there...She told me first no he is not in...then all of a sudden she said he was on a break? I told the agent to please understand my situation she then escelated the case again and said I will receive and sms. It's been a week exactly since last I called them and still no sms...now let me inform the CEO of Telkom and Finrite...that I have been loyal to my contract and paying for a phone for 6 months now that I don't have...going in for my 7th month for paying for a **** phone that I don't have, I've had this contract for more then a year now....that's R4900 of money that I could have used for food and PPE for my family during this tough period of Covid...that's data and airtime that I paid for but was unable to use...please why must you do this to good people...and it's my 1st claim EVER...is this the customer service you provide? If I knew this was gonna be the way I was gonna be treated and struggle I would have never put my signature on the dotted line...as you can tell from the way I speak (this case type) I am a very intellectual individual and please DONT TAKE ME FOR A ****...Coz my network goes beyond South Africa and I will inform my friends and following etc about the Service....I still had the patience for more than 2months to stay true to my contract...Other people would have cancelled their contract...I get this feeling that you guys want me to cancel so you don't have to provide me with a new handset ..is that the case? Should I take my business elsewhere? Should I take you guys to court? My lawyers are ready to jump...All I'm asking for is that I receive the service I was promised when I took out insurance on my handset on that beautiful sunny afternoon....why must people always be treated like this? Forced to the edge of breaking point? Do you first wana hear ur ****! Before you respond to any claim...I would not recommend anyone to be treated like this man...so here's the kicker I'll call the call center again tomorrow afternoon at exactly 2pm that's the 30th of July before month end...and I hope I could be provided with an honest respectful solution from your side...why should I continue to pay for something that I don't have...more info the contract is in my cousins name and I am paying the monthly debit order...Andile better be ready....Hope you enjoyed my Essay...all mark ups can be sent to www.goodpeopleturnedbad.co.za
