Bad service, Dishonest & ************ practices by Finrite Administrators

I first lodged a claim on the 18th of February via email. The email sent had all the attachments that I was told are required. When I called on the 19th, the agent said they had not received my email, yet the email did not bounce back. However, the email was sent again and quickly acknowledged. On the 22nd of February, I received an SMS from Finrite administrators letting me know that my claim was approved and that I needed to pay an excess of R1129.90 and allow 24-48 for the payment to be allocated an dreflect on their side. On the 25th of February the excess was paid to Finrite administrators. I then called them on the 25th of February and was told that the excess has not yet reflected. I called again on the 2nd of March, I was told that my case had been escalated to the underwriters and I was asked to wait for 48hrs for the outcome of the underwiters. However, today 10th of March, I called again and was told that they have not yet received feedback from the underwriters. I then asked the agent as to where her response leaves me as a customer, because thaey promised feedback within 48hr and yet, their service had not exceeded the 48hrs that they promised. She unfortunately could not respond to my question and kept on telling me that unfortunately they have not received any feedback from their underwriters. The frustrationg this is this, why would a message approving the claim be sent to a customer and two days later be changed/reversed unless this is a practice meant to ****** additional excess money by Finrite Administrators. I would not even mention the amount of time that one spends on a call waiting for an agent to respond to you. Would you please assist in ensuring that these short term insurers (Finrite) stop the ************ practices that disadvantages the public, especially in these harsh economic times.
