Appalling service

I placed a claim, early January for a phone that was ******. Documents were required from me and so I provided them to a lady called Jennifer. On the 11th of January I was told that my query had been escalated to the underwriters (Mutual & Federal). This was apparently supposed to take 7-14 days. Fast forward to late February I'm still being told that it has been escalated to the underwriters and they're waiting for feedback, and now I'm being told that this can take up to 2 months, this was told to me by a lady called Mpho.

I called in again last week and Jennifer tells me that my issue was only escalated to the underwriters on the 21st of February and can take up to 90 days to get a response. I then asked what the hell they have been doing all this time, and she says 'we were busy compiling your information' as this was absolutely outrageous, I then requested to speak to her superior. She suggested that she's in a meeting and will send a request from her manager to give me a call.

Now you need to understand that when purchasing a phone and requesting for insurance, One does not expect this level of incompetence because that is not a role that insurance gets to play. Especially if I on my end ensure that I pay up my insurance. I expect at least some sort of efficiency. I requested insurance because should I find myself in an unfortunate situation, I should ATLEAST get accurate and timely responses from my insurance. I honestly think that Finite as a company needs to make a deep dive into what is happening within their company because to me it really seems like you have selected a bunch of individuals who have absolutely no idea about what they are doing. If you know that you have systems in place that can take some time to resolve queries, ATLEAST make sure that your staff is group of individuals that will make it easier for your customers to understand.

To conclude this is by far the worst experience with a company I have ever had to deal with. By far!!!
