Urgent Complaint Regarding Unresolved Debt Review Clearance and Refunds

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the poor service I have received from Finfix and IPDA since settling all my outstanding debt. The inefficiency and lack of accountability have caused significant inconvenience and financial strain, despite my compliance with all payment obligations.

On December 19, 2024, I requested settlement letters from all my creditors. By December 24, 2024, all creditors had been paid in full according to the provided settlement letters. However, Finfix was unable to provide a letter for the legal fees. To resolve this, I made an additional payment to IPDA to cover the legal fees, ensuring that all accounts were fully settled. At this point, I was under the impression that the only remaining step was to receive my paid-up letters and clearance certificate.

However, on December 28, 2024, IPDA debited my account with my usual installment, despite all accounts being settled. I immediately contacted Finfix to request a refund. Since December 30, 2024, I have made approximately 30 emails and phone calls to follow up on my clearance certificate. Despite my repeated attempts, Finfix incorrectly insisted that I still owed legal fees. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that IPDA had wrongfully distributed my final legal fee payment among the creditors instead of allocating it correctly. This administrative error has yet to be rectified.

To make matters worse, on January 28, 2025, another unauthorized debit order was deducted from my account. I once again requested a refund, and while a partial refund (only 2/3 of the amount) was processed, I am still waiting for the full refund for the December 28, 2024 debit.

The most distressing part of this ordeal is the impact it has had on my life. I needed my credit record updated and cleared to secure a new place to stay by March 1, 2025. However, due to the delay and mismanagement, I remain flagged under debt review, making it impossible to proceed with my relocation. As a result, I have been forced to move in with my parents—an avoidable inconvenience had Finfix and IPDA handled my case efficiently.

The level of service I have received is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and negligent. I demand the following urgent resolutions: 1. Immediate issuance of my clearance certificate. 2. Correction of all records and removal of my debt review status. 3. Full refund of the December 28, 2024, unauthorized debit order. 4. A formal apology and assurance that such negligence will not be repeated. I hope for a swift and professional resolution to this matter.
