Regret using Finfix!!! Quick to get you in board but that's all the service you will receive!
Regret using Finfix every single day, they were fabulous during the application process but once you are on board the service and lack of communication is atrocious.
I advised them months ago that I have a maternity claim, I was assured that everything will be sorted and they will only debit the amount not covered by the claim.... well I m now on maternity leave and called to confirm the debit amount and have just been advised that the normal debit will be processed because the calculation hasn't been approved by Finfix and provided to the insurer!
They are quick to get you on board and take their fees but that's all the service you going to get from them.

25 Oct 2024, 16:47Finfix closed this complaint as resolved however I have been with Finfix for many years now and never missed a payment.
I advised them months ago that I will be going on maternity leave and have submitted a claim for the maternity benefit with the broker/insurer they placed me with. They were included in all correspondence. They assured me that they have made a note of this on their system and no one will contact me regarding payments, they will follow up with the insurer.
Yesterday, I contacted Finfix to find out what my installement will be as I have the claim which covers a portion of my installement for the duration of my maternity leave as I have not received any communication to which I was advised that they will be debiting the full installement. I submitted a complaint on HelloPeter as this seemed to be the only way I could get Finfix to assist me. A manager then called me to advised that he had managed to stop the debit order and I must do an eft payment for approximately R9000 as the balance is being paid by the insurer but will send me an email confirming our conversation and provide me with the installement amount and the banking details in order for me to make the payment. I have not received any mail and have therfore not been able to make a payment.
I have now received a call from Finsafe advising that as my policy has been moved the claim has been transferred to them and they now require additional documentation from me, I had already submitted or the requested documentation to the previous insurer.
Everyone at Finfix is giving me a different story, no one is following through on what they say they are going to do.
I am now at risk of a judgement/summons as I am in breach of contract as no payment has been made as they cancelled the debit order and have not provided me with details of where and how much I need to pay.
The service of Finfix is utterly disgusting and in terms of TCF, I am truly being mistreated and don't know what to do as I can't get anyone to truly assist me with this matter and as the consumer I am now at risk.

25 Oct 2024, 17:10I did speak to the head of department yesterday who assured me he will email me and send me the banking details and installement amount so I can sticl to my commitment and court order, which was never done so I have not been able to make a payment. Finfix are going to be responsible and will contact each of my credit providers and advise them as to why no payment has been made as this is due to their lack of service.
