If you are serious about a review process then read this ....

Honestly, I do not have experience with Debt Review companies other than my dealings with FINFIX. I can safely say that once you have done your “Homework” properly and you have made a choice, Stick with that choice. You are going to be in this for the long run and depending on your commitment and financial status through the process, the term you are under debt review depends entirely on you. Do not expect fast results in the beginning – this will not happen but as you stick it out, you will see the difference month on month for sure. It is very important that you remain in control of your own financial status through the process. Yes, I agree you loose accountability as this is handed over to the review company that you have chosen however, you remain fully responsible. I found it extremely beneficial to ask the review company to request settlement offers on your behalf, I have saved thousands in this way when you get to the point where you are able to initiate settlement of accounts when you are able to. Choose your financial agent carefully as even with FINFIX I had agents that I could work with and others that were terrible for the want of a better word. Once you find the agent that works with you and for you stick with him or her no matter what. In the case with FINFIX I worked closely with Christine and got to the point where I refuse to work with any other person even when they shifted to different departments during my journey with them. The next point is contentious for the review company however I stuck to my decision not to sign a debit order. Rather I paid monthly via EFT this gave me some sense of control if you have the discipline to pay in full and never ever skip a payment – NO MATTER WHAT! The monthly review instalment must be your first priority before anything else. If you are indebted this is a wise financial decision, scary at first but not something to be ashamed of and not to be regretted. Do it sooner than later if you need to and - be strong. The process does end and the financial freedom of being debt free is worth the road travelled. FINFIX for me was a winner and I would recommend them to anyone making the decision. Remember they are not the enemy – they are there to assist you along the way. The challenges these days are the banks and creditors who can easily get you in an over indebted situation.
