We had a terrible experience with this company. Andrew was supposed to do all our cupboards. He only produced a portion, the installation was not satisfactory (broken and mismatched sections) and after months eventually had to get another company to repair and complete the job.

I am terribly disappointed in the outcome of the installation I started but never got to complete for Angela L. Every story has 2 or more sides. Hereby I would just like to state a few facts from my side, as I never had any intention to let the client down:
1. The deposit for the work was paid on 31/03/2021 (9 weeks ago).
2. The builders had to remove the old cupboards, skim and paint the walls (which took 2 weeks out of the timeline - 7 weeks left until now).
3. After this was completed I could take the measurements for the new cupboards.
4. One of the two carpenters I employ disappeared for two weeks claiming to be in jail, leaving me to run with all the work myself - which I admit lead to a delay in the installation. I did inform the client about the situation I found myself in. To make matters worse he also disappeared with my only work vehicle for 4 of these days. I have now terminated the employment of this person and I am in the process of finding a new reliable employee - not easy unless you are able to see the quality of their workmanship in practice.
5. In order to create a second income for my family (I am a widower) I work in the film industry. With Covid, zero filming happened in the last year. On short notice I was called in last week, and if I turned the work down, I would've lost that potential income for the future. I hired a stand-in carpenter with 15 years' experience to be on site and to represent me while I had to attend to the work on set.
6. All the final parts such as drawer fronts, etc. still need to be installed, one set of doors' cut out door handles need to be aligned and the snag list is still to be compiled and fixed. Every building contractor will be testament to the fact that nothing is perfect until the final detail is completed.
6. I received an email and Whatsapp message on Friday, 4 June terminating my contract. I contacted the client multiple times to complete the work to the expected standard but this was refused.
This was the communication sent by email to the client today after I received an email from them on Friday 4 June 2021:
"Dear Client,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond with a written proposal and commitment as to an acceptable solution in your email dated 4 June 2021.
In order for both of us to be on the same page with regards to the work you deem as poor quality, non-functioning and incomplete, I am requesting the opportunity to meet with both you and *** on site so we can have a walkthrough and note everything down that you are unhappy with. This will allow us to create a complete snag list that we can all agree to on paper.
I really would like have the opportunity to complete this work to your high standards. As per our Whatsapp conversation on Friday, 4 June 2021, I repeatedly asked (begged) whether I can meet with you today (Monday 7 June at 9.00) to make this right. Your response was that “I am no longer welcome on your property” and that “the trust relationship is irreparable”. I also understand from your email that you have already “engaged with another contractor who will be repairing and completing this poor quality, non-functioning and incomplete installation” before you even terminated my services.
If you are unwilling to meet with me, I will need a full snag list with pictures as to understand and quantify “the great financial loss” you suffered. This way I will be able to adjust the final invoice taking into account what materials have already been used and work performed on the project already and work out what it would cost for another contractor to complete the work. This way I can deduct this cost from my final invoice payable after you terminated my services.
Kind regards,
Andrew"
