Custom Light Fitting Order – Paid in Full (R100k), No Delivery!
I am an interior designer and am sharing my experience with Fine Living Collectives so that others are aware. I placed an order for 7 custom light fittings for a new house build at the beginning of September 2025 with the owner Mia. I had to pay for the order in full (R99,860.25). Delivery was scheduled for end November 2025. To date, the order has not been delivered. Since then, I have received multiple explanations for the delays, including: - Stock being delivered to the incorrect site - Delays over Builders’ break - Illness - Travel delays Despite assurances that the order would be retrieved and delivered, this has not happened. Communication has been inconsistent, and at times completely absent — including no response to a formal letter of demand sent by my attorney. As things currently stand: - Payment has been made in full - No goods have been delivered - No confirmed delivery date has been provided - No refund has been issued I have since connected with other customers (Interior Designers and direct clients) who appear to be in similar positions, having paid for orders for lights and mirrors that have not been delivered. I am now formally escalating this matter. I would strongly caution anyone considering placing an order with Fine Living Collectives.
