Appalling treatment from Fine and Country West Rand

An estate agent from Fine and country that was assisting me with my property purchase. She sent me a signed OTP from the sellers on the 4th of November, with no conditions or time frames as to when I need to secure my bond. She kept quiet since then and sent me an email yesterday 21 November 2022 saying that the 2 weeks grace period she had given me has lapsed and she has since sold the property. I then found out in fact the property sale is sitting with the attorneys already and the transfer is well underway. That means the property was sold atleast 2 weeks ago. The estate agency principal claims he was not even aware of my OTP. When I contacted her yesterday to find out what had happened she said I was a second offer and the first offer had gone through. The first offer she is referring is the same offer she told me had been declined. She never mentioned there was another offer on the OTP, she never gave me a time frame to secure my bond and she never even gave me 72 hours notice to even counter offer when the other people’s bond was approved. Basically she just strung me along and made me a failsafe. Me and my family were nothing to her and we didn’t matter it was all about her making a sale.
