I had an issue with SARS (don't we all), and tried two tax consultants in Bloemfontein to assist, but after more than two years of struggling to get anything out of them, nothing happened. In January 2020 I received another message from SARS, stating I need to submit proof of purchase documents of a vehicle to them. I contacted Johan, who then said, they still owe you, the initial amount was only previous year's back taxes I got back! And I received another fair amount back in the beginning of March 2020, after they took SARS to the ombudsman for delaying paying out what they still owed me. The good part is, he said the account was settled with the initial payout.
