Very disappointed and inconvenienced
I'm so disappointed with my recent interactions with Finchoice. On the 9th of March I called customer service and was passed on to 3 different consultants. I advised the consultant that my employer (HR) has advised me that my salary will not be coming in on the 15th as is usually the case but will be paid in on the 31st of March. This is because I have resigned and currently working my notice period and will be starting a new job on 01 April. The consultant advised that the date had been changed and all was well. T o my surprise, the debit order went off despite numerous calls to inform them of the above. I called to question this with no proper explanation given. This is what I was avoiding, there are no funds in the account because the salary didn't come in so the debit order would've bounced. This will have an unnecessary impact on my credit record and it could've been avoided by a mere change of the date in the system. No one tried to evade any payment but I continuously called to change the date to a later date in the same month. I honestly do not expect this kind of treatment. On top of that, I'm getting hassling calls and texts as if I'm trying to evade payment. Clearly the notes on the account should've have the above version so why I'm being hassled makes no sense.
