Something doesn't add up
I have been a client using Finchoice short term loans for a number of years. Last year my situation changed a and I app**** for debt review, just to get a bit of relief. Forward one year and suddenly the balances my debt councilor obtained from Finchoice increases with early R1000 making my repayments longer with 2 months. 19 September I asked statements from Finchoice to make sense of this but was told that Debt Rescue must request this. They have done so in September.
Up to now we are still waiting on it (according to my debt councilor). I sent a follow up email on 5November (Thank you for your enquiry ***) and am still waiting.
I am starting to wonder if Finchoice is hiding something. Why else would it be such a struggle to get statements on information which I am totally entitled to.

I receive a follow up email yesterday and this morning i was sent the details of the administrator and Candice Bergh sent me the statement immediately (that I was previously told must be requested by my debt councillor). And lo and behold, the balances are different meaning my payments will be over sooner than anticipated and one loan that according to the systems are still outstanding is actually paid up. I am glad I have that information as I am already struggling for 5 months with IDALaw to refund me on overpayments.
Sometimes it is worth the fight.
