No customer communication

I received an offer from finchoice to apply for credit. Filled in all the forms, sent all my doc's, approved the debi check. 2 Months later and not a word from finchoice besides more emails of products I should apply for. I'm assuming I didn't qualify for what they offered me, but now, I'm sitting with a debi Check on my bank account which essentially gives them permission to deduct money from my account if they feel like it. How can this be legal?

All I want is for the Debi check to be removed from my bank account, there is no reason for a company to need a debi check on your personal bank account when you do not have any credit/loans with them.

Can you provide me with a timeline as to when I will receive this email mentioned above?

Got one email on the 18th claiming the debicheck is closed. Checked my banking and it's still there and active. I have yet to receive a reply on the mail I sent back with screenshots as proof.
