Finchoice Reporting Incorrect Credit Information Twice – Impacting My Creditworthiness

I am extremely dissatisfied with Finchoice.

A debit order was successfully processed from my account on 25 March, and Finchoice has confirmed receipt of the payment. Despite this, they still reported to the credit bureau that I did not pay.

This has now happened TWICE.

This is no longer a once-off mistake — it is a repeated failure that has negatively impacted my credit profile and may have affected my creditworthiness.

Incorrect reporting like this can have serious financial consequences, including affecting access to credit or financing terms. Despite this, Finchoice has not taken accountability and instead advised me to wait for the next reporting cycle or to log a dispute myself.

This is unacceptable. Customers should not bear the burden of correcting errors caused by a financial institution.

I will be escalating this matter to the National Credit Regulator and the Credit Ombud if it is not urgently resolved, and I reserve my rights regarding any damages suffered due to this incorrect reporting.

Finchoice needs to take responsibility and correct this immediately.

Very poor service and extremely concerning.
