endless outstanding balance on my loan account

My account with Fin choice went under Debt review in June 2013, I was making monthly instalments of R266.93 towards this account, but sometimes would make less or no payment and this resulted in the termination of the process, this year in February. My loan balance on Hyphen PDA statement dated December 2015 was R9787.61, when Fin choice was notified of my termination , their statement indicated the balance of R9850.25, and they started to deduct an amount of R1645.59 as from the 24/03/2016. I get statements from Fin choice every 3 months, and their recent one dated 30/08/2016 reflected the balance of R1636.40, with R1645.59 in arrears, that was paid up by the end of September 2016, and I thought I had settled my Finchoice account. I recently registered on their kwik-serve product to view my balance, actually I wanted to double-check if this account was indeed paid up, to my surprise , it said I owe them R286.76! I consulted their online "call me back" feature and I was never attended to. yesterday I called their call center and spoken to somebody by the name of Fezeka, she gave othert bad news saying that my account would be settled by end of November, so I have 2 instalments of R1645.59 outstanding, plus the R286.76 reflected on Kwikserve, I ran out of airtime as she was trying to find out what had happened to my account, I bought another airtime and called again, another lady ( whose name I didn't get) attended me and confirmed what Fezeka has said, she then asked me to drop the line and said she would call me back, which she didn't until now! I would like to know why do I still owe them? I also get access to my credit bureaux record on a monthly basis, the amount listed there is R256 something balance and R1645.59 in arrears, which is totally different to what I have been told, and that 's still questionable as in my understanding I shouldn't be owing them anything! I know that have messed up and the fact that my balance went from R9850.25 to the sum of instalments they have deducted since March, might have to do with the interest accumulated over the period when I was under debt review and the amount I paid during the process of debt review doesn't count at all! that's still fine, but now it does matter to me and Fin choice owes me an explanation to this matter.
