Direct Debits earlier than scheduled

Too often this company debits your account days before the agreed upon debit date. If the debit date falls on a Monday and the Monday is not a public holiday, why on earth do you still keep taking the dd on the Friday??? Happened again to me and once this loan is paid I will move my business elsewhere.
