Awaiting refund
My Finchoice account was hacked on the 25th of May 2022 and the ******** bought electricity and airtime. They also took out a loan and a funeral policy. Upon getting the sms's confirming the loan and that the funds was paid into my bank account I contacted Finchoice and reported the ********** activities. They requested I get an affidavit from police station and deposit the funds back to them. I deposited the funds back to them the very next day. And emailed the affidavit to them. They confirmed on email receipt of both affidavit and proof of payment. Finchoice then went ahead with a debit order against my account for the instalment of the loan and the electricity, airtime and funeral policy. What is so upsetting is the fact that I asked the consultant how this was going to affect my account and she assured me that it won't affect me as I sent all my proof. She also said that my refund will be affected within the next 5 to 7 working days. It's been 14 working days and not once did anybody contact me to give me feedback. I can't understand why I am bearing the brunt of this as their monies was paid back to them. I have been a customer of Finchoice for many years and very disappointed in how I'm being treated. This is not a reflection of your company's motto.
