Be Careful

Just got a call from this company and they stated that they are an accredited financial company given permission by the government to help people who are being overcharged in interest rates. It's fishy, because I didn't give them permission to run a credit check but I got an SMS saying I did. FALSE. They then dropped the phone abruptly when they realised my debt is under R3k. So how did they know I was being overcharged before the call if they didn't even know how my debt. I saw the other reviews after the call and if my account go into arrears - I want this as record that I did not go into debt review nor did I give this company any permission to work on my credit profile.
