Totally unprofessional and misleading

I received a call stating that my interest rates can be lowered, am I interested. I asked a couple of questions as they said they "are just looking to help me lower my monthly debts". I was genuinely polite and just asking questions to find out more, asking for the company name so I can just be sure, how does it work etc. After asking more questions the agent was so unprofessional and rude, and handed me to his supervisor. It is only then I realized this was a debt counselling offer and it was not disclosed at all. He basically told me my mindset is wrong because I don't want debt counselling. Lol I was really just minding my business when I got the call I don't need this!
